Andoid Experience is about my journey through learning to create applications for the Android platform. I am looking to share my experiences and the things I learn along the way with you, and hopefully you will find something interesting and useful that you can take away and use.
For the past seven years I have been working and developing java/sql applications for businesses and when the Android platform was announced, and later became a reality, I got really excited about the opportunities and potential for it. So along with a friend we are starting down the road of trying to turn Android into a business that will give us the freedom we want to ultimately be able to work where we want and when we want.
I have a passion for creativity and innovation, avidly reading and devouring articles and material on the subject. My hope is that from what I have learned I can use this to create useful, functional, and exciting applications that enrich the users experience. Productivity, simplicity, and fun are the areas that most interest me and where I personally see the greatest potential in this wonderful new mobile platform.
For me mobile is definitely the way forward, freedom from the desk while not loosing contact with the things you need most. Now the only question is when do we start to deliver?
